NEW MEMORIAL JEWELLERY DESIGNS

There is something special about coming up with new designs, its probably my favourite part of what I do. Each piece begins at the bench here in our Shropshire workshop, shaped slowly by hand, with care in every detail. My most recent designs are about capturing organic textures and deeply personal elements that reflect what Hold Upon Heart is all about - creating meaningful jewellery in the UK using sterling silver and solid gold, designed to hold ashes, fingerprints and hand or footprints. 

Below are seven of our newest designs that I particuarly love - I hope you will too!

1. MOLTEN MEMORIAL ASHES OPAL RING

This design explores movement and light through a molten, organic texture. Each ring is individually textured using flame, so no two will ever be the same. The inlaid crushed opal catches the light beautifully, shifting in colour in a way that feels alive. When paired with ashes, it becomes a deeply personal piece that still feels elegant and wearable. 2. MOLTEN FINGERPRINT RING

A fingerprint is one of the most personal details you can carry. In this design, the print is engraved on the inside of a molten band, textured using flame for a truly unique piece. 5. MEMORIAL ASHES FLOWER CHARM

6. MOLTEN MEMORIAL ASHES SMOKY QUARTZ RING

This design is a new addition to our Under the Stone collection. The smoky quartz adds warmth and depth, paired with the organic molten texture of the band. Cremation ashes are dicreetly and securely set under the stone for a memorial ashes ring that is that little bit different to the normal offerings. 

7. MEMORIAL ASHES INLAID HEART RING

This design is simple, but carries a strong sense of meaning. The band is clean and solid, with a smooth finish that feels comfortable and reassuring to wear. Set into the surface is a small inlaid heart, holding ashes in a way that is both visible and discreet.

There is something grounding about this piece. The weight of the ring, combined with the hidden inscription inside, creates a sense of closeness that feels personal to the wearer. MEMORIAL JEWELLERY TRULY HANDMADE IN THE UK

What brings this collection together is intention. Every piece is handmade to order in our UK workshop, allowing us to create something that is completely personal to you. And when we say handmade, we mean really handmade, beginning with melting precious metal to form sheet, then hand piercing the design, before using a specialist laser engraver to add your personalised engraving. These are not pieces mass-produced overseas and simply finished with ashes or fingerprints in the UK. This genuine, hand-made process adds to their appeal in my eyes, making each piece truly special. Whether it holds ashes, a fingerprint or a small handprint, each design is made to preserve a memory in a beautiful and lasting way.
