Back making Fingerprint Jewellery!

We are now back in the Hold upon Heart Fingerprint Jewellery studio after the Christmas Hols and have just taken 3 batches of fingerprint jewellery out of our kilns - no handprints in this lot as Jeff is still working on turning those handprints into stamps, its a bit of a long-winded process! We definitely needed our Christmas break as we made hundreds of orders during the run up to Christmas and our hands were beginning to feel the strain! Even my polishing handpiece packed up with the effort - have just received my new handpiece today, so am significantly poorer (jewellery tools are usually mega expensive) but can now finish polishing today's fired pieces!

We have had lots of lovely feedback over the holidays about the fingerprint jewellery we made. It's always nice to hear that what we have made has been well received as each piece we make takes quite a lot of effort! Here's a lovely review we received yesterday from Jo who had a pair of silver handprint earrings for Christmas...

We did have a lovely Christmas, very much family orientated, we spent most of the days snuggled on the sofa with our three little boys, just enjoying being able to spend some time with them all again! Hope you all enjoyed your holidays too and that the return to work isn't too painful! Apparently it will snow on Monday so that's something to look forward too! (If you like snow anyway!)
