MEMORIAL ASHES FORGET-ME-NOT LOCKET

Our Forget-Me-Not Swivel Memorial Ashes Locket Necklace is a unique design inspired by the delicate flower long associated with remembrance and enduring love. A symbol of loyalty and lasting connection, the forget-me-not offers a quiet and meaningful tribute to someone held close in memory.

Handmade in your choice of sterling silver or solid gold, the locket features a concealed swivel front that gently moves aside to reveal your loved one’s precious cremation ashes, carefully set in resin within. You can personalise your locket by selecting from 14 crushed opal colour options, which have that beautiful iridescent sparkle, or from our pearlescent flat white or flat black colour options. You may also choose whether the ashes are placed above the colour layer so they remain visible, or beneath it for a more discreet finish.

A short personalised message may be engraved on the reverse of the locket — including your own handwriting for an even more meaningful touch.

Please note: Locket supplied with jump-ring (to thread onto a chain) as standard. Chains can be added at additional cost below. This design works particularly well with our beautiful Hayseed Chain.

Once we receive your order, we will send you a simple kit to collect a small amount of your loved one’s cremation ashes. The kit contains a biodegradable sealable bag and spoon, allowing you to gather the ashes with care and dignity.

We require approximately one teaspoon of ashes per item ordered. Only a small amount of ashes will be used, and all unused ashes will be carefully returned to you along with your finished pieces.

For your convenience, a return envelope is provided. Please note that return postage is not included. To ensure the ashes reach us safely, we strongly recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery when sending memorial ashes.

We offer a choice of 14 beautiful crushed opal colours. The opal creates a stunning iridescent effect, as the tiny fragments catch the light and reveal flashes of rainbow colour. We also offer a flat black and flat white colour, which has a subtle pearlescent shimmer for a more understated look.

You can also choose whether your loved one’s ashes are set beneath the colour layer or placed above it so they remain visible. This is entirely a personal choice. However, if you select an opal finish, the sparkle and colour flashes of the opal are often more noticeable when the ashes are positioned beneath the colour layer.

This design can feature a short message engraved on the back. Choose from the below font options, or provide your own handwriting to be engraved.

For handwritten messages, its best to limit to 3-4 words max to ensure legibility of the engraving.

Each piece is individually made to order in our Shropshire studio by our goldsmith, Melanie — a designer-maker with over a decade of experience creating meaningful memorial jewellery.

Our stated production time begins from the date we receive your ashes and reflects the care and craftsmanship involved in creating your piece. During particularly busy periods, this timeframe may vary slightly.

If you need your jewellery by a specific date within the estimated timeframe, please leave a note in the “Note to the studio” box at checkout and we will always do our best to accommodate you.
