Our handprint and footprint jewellery is lovingly handmade in our workshop at the Maws Craft Centre in Shropshire, UK. Each piece is carefully created to capture the delicate detail of your baby’s tiny hand or footprint - miniaturised, yet incredibly precious.

Providing your prints
You can send us a photograph of an existing hand or footprint, or we can provide a simple, mess-free kit for you to take beautifully detailed prints at home. We’re able to work from prints created in paint, water, ink, and more - so if you can capture it in a photo, we can almost certainly transform it into a lasting piece of jewellery.
Making your jewellery
All our handprint jewellery is handmade to order in Shropshire. Once we have crafted your jewellery, your prints are carefully engraved, preserving the strongest line detail and unique shape. Our prints are deeply engraved and guarateed not to wear away.
Once complete, your jewellery is carefully hand finished, and beautifully polished, before being posted to you - ready to wear and treasure.

HOW TO TAKE HAND & FOOTPRINTS
ORDER A PRINT KIT
Both handprints and footprints can be taken successfully from birth, although footprints are often easier to capture when very little. We can work with prints you already have - including photographs of clay impressions - or you can purchase one of our safe, mess-free print kits for taking prints at home.
While there are several simple ways to capture a handprint yourself, our inkless kits are designed to give the clearest detail and are especially easy to use. Many families also choose to keep an extra set of prints for a baby book or memory box as a lasting keepsake.
If you’re unsure whether your print will be suitable, you’re very welcome to send it to us for guidance before placing your order.
DIFFERENT HANDPRINT FINISHES ON SILVER JEWELLERY
Our signature finish is highly polished handprints and footprints, which gives the jewellery a timeless and elegant appeal. However we can easily darken handprints and footprints on silver jewellery, should you prefer more of a contrast. Its all a matter of taste, just let us know which you prefer when making your order. If you don't state a preference, we will finish the prints in the same style as the product photos.

The best results come from using one of our non-toxic, mess-free inkless print kits, but we can also work with prints taken in paint, or impressions in clay. You can order a handprint kit here.

That’s completely normal - babies rarely stay still! Try to take your print at a time when your baby is calm, or even a little sleepy, to make things easier.
Don’t worry if the print isn’t perfect - we can work with imperfect prints and will carefully refine them where needed. We’ll remove things like duplicate fingers or toes (unless you’d prefer us not to), along with smudges or unwanted marks, while keeping the character of the original print.
We won’t add missing details unless you specifically ask us to, as we aim to stay as true to your baby’s original print as possible, preserving its authenticity.

The clearer the print, the more detail we can capture, but it doesn’t need to be perfect. We carefully refine each image to preserve as much detail as possible while keeping the character of the original print.

Yes, in many cases we can work from existing prints, including those taken at birth or saved in baby books. Just send us a clear photo or scan and we’ll let you know if it’s suitable.
