More to do with the jeweller.
I just had to put my gorgeous little russian blue girl Nala to sleep, and I feel so very heavy right now.
Our pets mean so much to us, and Nala meant the world to me. She was only a young cat, just over 2 years old, and for some unknown reason out of the blue her liver started to fail. She was my little grey rock and I will miss her so very much. We had her from a little kitten together with her brother Vince. Vince was wonderful, bolshy and slightly stupid. He was run over at a year old which was horrific.
I havent had much luck with my little grey cats, but they left a really big mark in their short time with me. I will be getting Nalas ashes back shortly, and I think I will make myself something special with Nala and Vince's ashes combined. I made myself something with my old cat, Maud's ashes, when she passed aged 18 years, and it brought me great comfort. I think I may need a grey gemstone. Once I've made it I guess I'll share it here.

Our pets are so much more than just animals, they really are part of our family, and their loss is incerdibly painful. A very bad day indeed. Sleep tight my little girl x.

There is something special about coming up with new designs, its probably my favourite part of what I do. Each piece begins at the bench here in our Shropshire workshop, shaped slowly by hand, with care in every detail.
