LAST ORDER DATES FOR CHRISTMAS

We know it seems early to be getting festive, however we wanted to let you know of our Last Order Dates for Christmas, so you can take these into consideration when planning your Christmas shopping. *Both your order and your prints etc. must be received by these dates, for delivery of the finished piece before Christmas.

These dates are somewhat earlier than usual, but it's probably no surprise that this year is a bit different. The Covid-19 pandemic is going to impact all online sellers, us included. Here is how we think we could be affected:

• This year more than usual, the post is going to be under significant pressure. There is bound to be a substantial rise in online shopping, plus staff shortages due to self-isolating staff. Because of this we won't be working to our usual last minute deadlines, and aim to have all orders placed before our cut-off dates posted by the 11th December.
• Our suppliers, in particular our caster, are going to be under pressure due to self-isolating staff, covid-secure restrictions, and longer delivery times of supplies. This means last minute stock replenishment is likely to be tricky.
• There is a likelihood that our own staff may need to self-isolate.
• There is also the possibilty of our children, one of whom is disabled, being off school should they need to self-isolate. 

So please, help us to help you this year, by ordering your Christmas gifts as soon as possible. Those of you who do order and return prints in good time can rest assured that, as always, we will deliver your order in time for the big day. If you do order and return prints after the cut-off date has passed, then you should be prepared for your order to be made and dispatched in the New Year. 

LEFT IT LATE? GIFT BOX YOUR PRINT KIT

This year, as always, you will be given the option to upgrade your print kit to a gift boxed print kit whilst checking out. If you find us after the last order dates have passed, we strongly advise you select the Gift Boxed Print Kit option, rather than ordering or returning prints late, in the hope that we will be able to deliver in time.

Beautifully presented in a high quality, ribbon-tied gift box, each gift boxed kit contains a photo certificate of your chosen jewellery, plus all materials needed to take prints, as well as a Christmas card for you to pop your own message on. The gift boxed kit is perfect to give on Christmas Day. It's rather nice that the recipient can enjoy taking prints themselves, and they can make any last minute design changes that you might have missed. Once prints have been taken, the recipient simply returns these to us directly, in the New Year, and we will make their unique jewellery.  

DECEMBER ORDERS NOT NEEDED FOR CHRISTMAS

We always down tools and close the studio during the school Christmas Holidays. If you are not needing your order delivered before Christmas, but are ordering during December, perhaps for a January birthday, then you will need to take into account this closed period and add an additional 3 weeks to the estimated lead time.
