January 07, 2020 1 min read
I don't know about you, but I can't quite believe it's 2020. Makes me feel rather old, as I can remember clearly everyone getting so excited about the Millenium. Have literally no idea where the last 20 years have gone, they certainly have flown by in a whirl of university, bringing up small boys and fingerprint jewellery making!
All our little chaps went back to school today after the Christmas break, so we have picked up tools again after a well earned break. If truth be told, we have eaten far too many chocolates, and are ready to begin making again! Our youngest, who is autistic, found Christmas a bit too much, so we were glad to be able to whisk him away for a New Year trip to the seaside where he cheered up remarkably as it's his happy place. Sounds cold I know, but the weather was actually quite nice (for January!) Certainly Noah thought it was balmy, as he braved paddling in the sea every day - photo included as evidence of paddling and happiness!
Anyway, after a nice (and much needed) rest, our batteries are recharged and we are ready for the year ahead. It felt a bit strange being back at the bench today, but I soon got back into the swing of things, and have enjoyed making our first pieces of 2020, some of which even made it into today's post!
That's it for this update - all that remains is for myself and Jeff to wish you all the very best for the New Year ahead.
