ECO FRIENDLY FINGERPRINT JEWELLERY

In our bid to be eco-friendly we are turning back the clock and returning to our kraft coloured gift boxes for our fingerprint jewellery. Each box is stamped with our Hold upon Heart logo in shimmering gold, and more importantly, each box is FSC® certified.

The FSC^® mark guarantees that all materials used come from an FSC^® forest, where no more wood is cut down than the forest can reproduce. This means better protection of the animal- and plant life, and all foresters have proper training, safety equipment and a decent wage - whats not to love about this?

Our boxes also feature sustainable inserts made from a 100% renewable raw material called Tall Oilm which is a by product from paper production. Oh, and they also use water-based glue. 

When looking at our packaging, we did have to resist the temptation to package our jewellery in more elaborate (and very much not eco-friendly) gift boxes, but at the end of the day it was an easy decision to make. I think we are all becoming more concious of the impact of our activities on Mother Earth, and it has been on our road map for a while to take a look at what we can do as a business to help minimise our footprint on the planet.

But why stop at the gift box? Well, we haven't. We have made the commitment to ensure all of our packaging is as eco-friendly as possible, whilst still looking lovely. This is why our new gift boxes will arrive in a FSC® certified mailing box, cocooned in a gorgeous burgundy tissue paper, which is also FSC® certified. Any inserts have also been printed on recycled paper, oh and so have our print kit documents. Even the ribbon is recycled. AS all our packaging is plastic free and paper based, it can also all be recycled.
