MEMORIAL ASHES IMPRINT DOT RING

Delicate and meaningful, our Memorial Ashes Imprint Dot Ring offers a beautifully understated way to keep your loved one close. Each slender band is carefully handcrafted in your choice of solid gold or sterling silver, finished with a sterling silver dot that becomes the heart of the piece. Using a heritage technique dating back to the Middle Ages, we imprint your loved one’s ashes into the surface of the silver, creating a soft, moon-like texture.

Rather than enclosing the ashes within the metal, this process creates a lasting impression on its surface - a subtle, tactile tribute that carries deep meaning while remaining elegantly minimal. No two rings are ever the same.

Once we receive your order, we will send you a simple kit to collect a small amount of your loved one’s cremation ashes. The kit contains a biodegradable sealable bag and spoon, allowing you to gather the ashes with care and dignity.

We require approximately one teaspoon of ashes per item ordered. Only a small amount of ashes will be used, and all unused ashes will be carefully returned to you along with your finished pieces.

For your convenience, a return envelope is provided. Please note that return postage is not included. To ensure the ashes reach us safely, we strongly recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery when sending memorial ashes.

Each piece is individually handmade to order in our Shropshire studio by our goldsmith, Melanie — a designer-maker with over a decade of experience creating meaningful memorial jewellery.
Our stated production time begins from the date we receive your ashes and reflects the care and craftsmanship involved in creating your piece. During particularly busy periods, this timeframe may vary slightly.
If you need your jewellery by a specific date within the estimated timeframe, please leave a note in the “Note to the studio” box at checkout and we will always do our best to accommodate you.
Once your jewellery is ready to dispatch, we’ll email to let you know. All orders are sent with signature required on delivery.
