Both handprints and footprints can be taken successfully from birth, although many parents find footprints easier to capture before those little fingers begin to uncurl. We can work with prints you already have — including photographs of treasured impressions — or you can purchase one of our safe, mess-free, non-toxic print kits for taking prints at home.
While there are several simple ways to capture a handprint yourself, our inkless kits are designed to give the clearest detail and are especially easy to use. Many families also choose to keep an extra set of prints for a baby book or memory box as a lasting keepsake.
If you’re unsure whether your print will be suitable, you’re very welcome to send it to us for guidance before placing your order.

Established in 2012, our silver & gold handprint and footprint jewellery is handcrafted in the UK by an experienced goldsmith. Each piece is made with care and attention, and we’ve created meaningful keepsakes for thousands of satisfied customers.

Your baby's handprint or footprint is permanently transferred to precious metal using precision laser engraving, ensuring lasting depth and clarity, so your print will not fade with wear.

Many of our designs can be personalised with your own handwriting at no extra cost, creating a truly unique and deeply sentimental keepsake.

We use recycled silver and gold wherever possible, and all of our packaging is thoughtfully designed to be eco-friendly.
Handprint and Footprint jewellery can be created at any age, even from birth.
For very young babies, you may find taking a footprint easier, as those little fingers tend to be firmly curled during the early weeks, although a handprint is certainly possible with care. You may find it easier to take a handprint when baby is in a milk-induced deep sleep.
Handprints from older children, teenagers, and adults are usually strong and well-defined. You may need to press the palm harder to get a full print.
Yes. We can use hand and footprints taken by the hospital, or prints captured in paint at home. We can work with photos of clay impressions or even a direct photo of the hand or foot. Our handprint kits give the most detailed results, but other types of handprints still have their charm.
For sterling silver jewellery, you can choose either a darkened (oxidised) print or a polished silver finish. Simply let us know your preference in the Order Notes box at checkout.
Our preference is usually for polished silver prints, and most of our products are pictured this way. If a design is shown with a darkened print, that is what you should expect to receive unless you request a polished finish instead.
For gold jewellery, prints cannot be darkened and will always have a polished finish.
For stainless steel jewellery, we create a silvery-white engraving designed to catch the light. The appearance may shift subtly between lighter and darker tones depending on how the light reflects on the surface.
