This piece is entirely handmade to order in my Shropshire studio. Please allow approximately 2-3 weeks for your jewellery to be carefully made before dispatch.
DESCRIPTION
Perfect for Dad, this timeless keepsake is designed to capture his baby’s precious handprint and footprint forever. Handmade by me in my Shropshire studio, the dog tag is available in sterling silver or 9ct gold, and will be engraved with your child’s own miniaturised hand and footprint, creating a beautiful piece of baby keepsake jewellery to treasure.
The front of the dog tag can feature one or two handprints or footprints, along with your baby’s name or date. The reverse can be engraved with a personal message, I can even engrave your own handwriting, making each necklace completely unique.

PROVIDING PRINTS
IIf you already have handprints or footprints, simply upload them when placing your order.
If not, you can order one of our easy-to-use print kits to capture your baby’s handprints or footprints at home. Our kits are inkless, mess-free, non-toxic, and completely safe for delicate skin, making the process simple and stress-free. Each kit allows you to take multiple prints, so you can choose your favourite.
Once you’ve captured your prints, just take a clear photo of your chosen print using your mobile phone and email it to us at studio@holduponheart.co.uk. We’ll take care of the rest.
ENGRAVING
This design can feature a personalised message on both the front and the back. Choose your preferred font from the options shown below, or provide your own handwritten message to be engraved.
For handwritten messages, its best to limit to 3-4 words max to ensure legibility of the engraving.
PRODUCTION & DELIVERY
Every piece of Hold Upon Heart jewellery is handmade by me, Melanie, a goldsmith with over a decade of experience specialising in baby handprint jewellery. Every piece begins in my hands and is crafted with exceptional care and attention to detail.
Your production time begins from the date your prints are received in my studio and reflects the time, care and individual craftsmanship involved in creating your jewellery. During particularly busy periods, this timeframe may vary slightly.
If you need your jewellery by a specific date close to the estimated production time, please leave a note in the "Note to the Studio" box at checkout and I'll always do my very best to accommodate you.
Once your jewellery is ready for dispatch, we'll email you to let you know it's on its way.
