A BURST OF COLOUR

Is it too late to wish you all a Happy New Year? Can't believe it is nearly March already. The last couple of months have been crazy busy whilst we juggle home schooling with making jewellery (and other things), and time seems to have gone by very quickly. 2021 seems to be shaping up much like 2020, but hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel for us all now (fingers crossed). Personally I am desperate for spring to arrive, and for some freedoms to be returned. In particular we have one little man here who desperately misses his seaside. Shropshire, being landlocked, doesn't quite tick his sensory needs box, although crucnching ice and snow on our lockdown walks has certainly been enjoyed by our big-little boy. 

Anyway, in between making orders and giving orders (to the kids) we have found a wee bit of time (aka late at night) to design a small collection of personalised gifts. As we spend most of our time working with silver and gold, it really is rather refreshing to play with colour and new materials. On the subject of new materials, we will shortly be welcoming a new piece of equipment to our studio, which will increase the types of material we can work with. Have to confess to being somewhat excited about it, and we've already dreamt up lots of new designs for it to create. As always with these things, there will be a learning curve, and plenty of trial and error until we are able to actually realise the new products which currently reside in my head! But am looking forward to its arrival. For now though, here are our new personalised velvet and tile products, which we rather like -  hope you do too!
