OUR JEWELLERY
  • March 18, 2020 2 min read

We would like to assure our customers that we are still here and making jewellery despite the best efforts of the coronavirus to disrupt all of our lives.

As proud parents of a beautiful boy with severe learning disbilities, pictured holding his Dad captive on the sofa, we fall into the category of people who have been advised to self-isolate for 12 weeks. Luckily for us, we already work from home, so aside from having to be a lot more organised in the food department, and having three children off school, we can continue to make jewellery pretty much as usual.

That's not to say there haven't been difficulties. This week has seen much disruption as we have had to relocate tools and supplies so two of our team can work from their own homes and leave us in our little protective bubble. This has impacted lead times on our orders by a couple of days, at a busy time of year, but we should be back up to speed by the weekend. We do have to now juggle work and child care though, as you can see by the photo Jeff's working environment in particular has changed. He is now answering e-mails and drawing artwork whilst being held captive on a sofa with Noah, surrounded by his precious things. This means we may need a couple of days longer than the stated making time during the next few months and you may find it harder to contact us by phone as Noah is usually doing something to prevent us from answering whenever it rings. You will still be able to reach us easily on e-mail though, or through our social media channels.

So we have staff set up to work from home, we have a good stock of materials, our suppliers are still supplying, and the postal service is still running, even the local post office is collecting our post for us so we don't have to leave the house, so please feel assured that we are still fit and able to accept your order, and create your special family keepsake.
