We had a very creative weekend which has resulted in several new designs which we will be introducing over the next few days or so. Was lovely to finally realise some of the designs I have had in my head for the past few months, but haven't had time to make due to the rather fine balancing act of making jewellery for you lovely folk, being a mum to 3 rather demanding little men and the ever looming house/studio move. I think it was a pocket of time well used and am really pleased with all of our experiments. So here is our first experiment which I really like - it is a sterling silver heart shaped swivel locket which holds a fingerprint although would work just as well with a handprint or footprint. The front has been textured with a hammered effect and I finally made use of my plating pen to add the gold detail on the front - looked lovely in all silver too but I quite like this gold highlight. This design is suited to one print but have had several peeps ask if we could make this to hold 2 prints so will be working on this over the next couple of days.
