TAKING FINGERPRINTS

MAKING A FINGERPRINT MOULD
.If you would like an actual impression of the finger in your jewellery then you will need to make a Fingerprint Mould. Our simple Fingerprint kits include a soft putty which is used to create this mould. The putty captures the fine print detail, as well as the shape and curve of the finger. Our kits contain enough material to make three moulds.

INK & PENCIL FINGERPRINTS
We also make Fingerprint Jewellery using Pencil or Ink Fingerprints. These give a more graphic result than a putty print, and the pattern is beautifully clear. No kit is needed to capture this type of fingerprint - simply follow the instructions at this link to take pencil fingerprints using only a pencil, tape and paper. Should you choose a Gift Boxed Kit for a piece made using an ink or pencil fingerprint, then this will contain a simple pre-inked sheet which allows the recipient to easily take many ink fingerprints. Our memorial fingerprint kits contain both putty and a pre-inked sheet to allow you to capture both styles of fingerprint from your loved one.

 TAKING HANDPRINTS & FOOTPRINTS.
This is quite simple with our mess-free handprint kits. These contain "magic" paper and an inkless wipe which you you simply wipe over the hand before pressing to the paper to capture the print.
